Educational Qualification (Clerk-cum-Typist):
- Bachelor's Degree किसी recognized Indian University से – mandatory

Eligibility Criteria – Apply कर सकते हो या नहीं?
PET-2025 – यह Mandatory है!
UPSSSC Lower PCS 2026 की सबसे important eligibility requirement है – PET-2025 (Preliminary Eligibility Test 2025) का qualified होना। Shortlisting for the Main Exam will be based on the normalized score of PET-2025। Candidates with zero, negative, or less-than-zero scores will not be shortlisted। Category-wise vacancies के 15 गुना candidates Mains के लिए shortlist होंगे。
Educational Qualification:
सभी posts के लिए basic requirement है – Bachelor's Degree किसी recognized Indian University से। Clerk-cum-Typist / Cashier / Storekeeper के लिए Graduate degree के साथ minimum 25 words per minute Hindi typing speed भी mandatory है।

Main Examination objective type है जिसमें 100 questions हैं जो 100 marks carry करते हैं। Duration 2 hours (120 minutes) है। हर incorrect answer पर 0.25 marks की negative marking होती है।

Subject-wise Mains Syllabus – क्या पढ़ें?
1. General Studies (GS) – History, Polity, Geography, Economy, Science
History: Indian History (Ancient, Medieval, Modern), Freedom Movement – important events, leaders, 1857 Revolt, Gandhi, Nehru, Subhas Chandra Bose। Polity: Indian Constitution basics, Fundamental Rights, DPSP, Parliament, State Legislature, Judiciary, Local Government। Geography: India's physical features, rivers, climate, natural resources, UP's geography। Economy: Indian economic development, Five Year Plans, current economic scenario, banking basics, GDP, inflation। Science: Physics, Chemistry, Biology – Class 10 NCERT level, everyday science applications।
2. General Hindi – 10 Marks
संधि, समास, उपसर्ग-प्रत्यय, शब्द-रूपांतरण, लिंग, वचन, कारक, काल, वाच्य, शुद्ध वर्तनी, मुहावरे एवं लोकोक्तियाँ, अलंकार के उदाहरण, पर्यायवाची-विलोम, रस-छंद-अलंकार basics। Hindi grammar के common error types पर special focus।
3. Computer & IT – 15 Marks
Computer Fundamentals, Hardware & Software basics, MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet & Email basics, Networking basics, Operating System basics, Computer Abbreviations, Keyboard Shortcuts, Cyber Security basics। यह section easy marks का source है – अगर computer basics strong हैं तो 12-13/15 easily आ सकते हैं।
4. Uttar Pradesh General Knowledge – 20 Marks
UP की History, Culture, Art & Literature, Famous personalities, UP ki Geography (rivers, districts, climate), UP Economy, Governance & Administrative setup, Current Affairs of UP (last 4-5 months), Important schemes launched by UP Government, Tourism places in UP। यह section 20 marks का है – UP specific preparation बहुत जरूरी है। UP GK पर extra time लगाओ।
Hindi Typing 25 WPM – Clerk-cum-Typist के लिए Complete Guide
दोस्तों, 25 WPM Hindi typing UP government exams में standard requirement है। यह एक beginner-to-intermediate level की speed है। अगर आप regular practice करते हो तो यह achieve करना comfortable है। लेकिन exam में nervousness से speed 5-7 WPM कम होती है, इसलिए घर पर 32-35 WPM target रखो।
UP Govt Exams में Hindi Typing Layout:

Apply Process – कैसे करें Apply?
- Step 1: upsssc.gov.in पर जाएं।

UPSSSC Lower PCS 2026 में pay scale Level-4 to Level-6 (₹25,500 – ₹1,12,400) depending on the post है। Clerk-cum-Typist Level-4 post है जिसमें Basic Pay ₹25,500 से शुरू होती है। DA, HRA, Medical Allowance और अन्य benefits के साथ total in-hand salary ₹32,000 – ₹38,000+ तक होती है। UP Government की permanent job security, promotion opportunities और state government के सभी benefits मिलते हैं।

बिल्कुल नहीं! ऑफिशियल नोटिफिकेशन (पेज 15) के अनुसार लिपिक सह टंकक (Clerk-cum-Typist) के लिए सिर्फ Graduation और 25 WPM हिंदी टाइपिंग की स्पीड चाहिए। इसके लिए ना तो कोई टाइपिंग सर्टिफिकेट चाहिए और ना ही CCC/O-Level! विभाग (UPSSSC) आपका टाइपिंग टेस्ट खुद कंप्यूटर पर लेगा।
Q4. Mains Exam में Negative Marking है?
हाँ। 0.25 marks (1/4) per wrong answer। 100 questions हैं – सभी attempt मत करो। जिसमें confident हो वही mark करो। Uncertain questions को skip करना बेहतर है।
Q5. क्या Lower PCS में Interview होता है?
नहीं! UPSSSC Lower PCS 2026 में कोई Interview नहीं है, कोई Physical Test नहीं है। Final selection सिर्फ Mains Exam के marks पर होगी।
Q6. UP GK section में क्या पढ़ूं?
UP की History, Geography, Administrative setup, Current Affairs (last 4-5 months), UP Government schemes, Tourist places। 20 marks का section है – इसे seriously लो। Local newspapers और UP GK books से preparation करो।
