SSC Stenographer Typing Test – पूरी जानकारी
SSC Stenographer (Grade C & D) exam में shorthand dictation के बाद Transcription Typing Test होती है। यह regular typing test से fundamentally अलग है — यहाँ candidate को अपने shorthand notes को computer पर type करना होता है। Shorthand speed और typing speed — दोनों का combination ही final performance decide करता है।
Grade C में 100 WPM shorthand + 50 WPM transcription (English) और Grade D में 80 WPM shorthand + 40 WPM transcription (English) required है। Hindi medium में Grade C के लिए 80 WPM shorthand + 40 WPM transcription और Grade D के लिए 65 WPM shorthand + 35 WPM transcription चाहिए। यह test qualifying nature की है।

Typing को Shorthand से Ahead रखें

Official Vocabulary Memorize करें
"Undersigned", "herewith", "aforesaid", "pursuant to" जैसे official words shorthand में अलग symbols होते हैं — typing में भी fluent रहें।
Touch Typing — No Keyboard Glance
Transcription में आपका ध्यान notes पर होना चाहिए, keyboard पर नहीं। Touch typing fluency एक non-negotiable skill है।
Backspace Without Stopping

SSC Steno के previous year dictation passages available हैं। उन्हें shorthand में note करें, फिर यहाँ transcription practice करें।

Grade C English में 5000 words, 40 minutes। यानी 125 WPM effective typing speed ज़रूरी है — margin के साथ। Regular timed tests दें।
Hindi Steno Transcription की तैयारी कैसे करें?
- Hindi steno में Mangal font (Inscript layout) official है — Kruti Dev CPCT/steno exam में generally allowed नहीं।
- Hindi shorthand के लिए Pitman adapted system या Kailash system use होती है।
- Grade D Hindi: 65 WPM shorthand + 35 WPM transcription — relatively achievable है।
- Hindi में matra accuracy बहुत important है — ि और ी, ु और ू की mistakes common हैं।
- Official Hindi vocabulary — "उपर्युक्त", "संलग्न", "प्रेषण" जैसे terms से अलग से familiar हों।
- Transcription time Hindi में ज़्यादा होता है (55 min Grade C) — speed pressure कम होती है।
