### The CritiCall Typing Test Component
Candidates are tested on both narrative typing and alphanumeric data entry. You must accurately transcribe license plate numbers, street addresses, caller medical descriptions, and situational codes. A minimum typing speed of 40 to 45 WPM is mandatory, as seconds can save human lives in active crisis dispatch.
