CBT के बिना Typing तक नहीं पहुँचोगे — यह सच समझो
नमस्ते दोस्तों! मैं हूँ अमित कुमार और multityping में आपका स्वागत है।
SSC Stenographer की तैयारी करने वाले Students से मुझे अक्सर यह सुनने को मिलता है — Amit bhai, हम Typing तो Practice कर रहे हैं, लेकिन CBT में क्या पूछते हैं यह समझ नहीं आया। और यह सुनकर मुझे थोड़ी चिंता होती है। क्योंकि SSC Stenographer की Selection Journey में CBT पहला और सबसे Important Step है। Typing Skill Test तभी होगी जब CBT Qualify होगा। और CBT तभी Qualify होगा जब आपको पता हो कि उसमें क्या आता है और कैसे आता है।
आज इस Blog में मैं आपको SSC Stenographer CBT का पूरा Section-wise Breakdown दूँगा — बिना किसी Confusion के, बिल्कुल Simple Language में। कौन से Topics हर Paper में ज़रूर आते हैं, कैसे Questions Frame होते हैं, किस पर ज़्यादा Time देना चाहिए — यह सब आज Clear होगा।
इसके साथ यह भी बताऊँगा कि CBT की तैयारी के साथ-साथ Typing Practice कैसे Parallel चलानी है — ताकि CBT Clear होते ही Typing Test के लिए भी Ready हों।
CBT का Complete Structure — पहले यह Foundation पक्की करो
SSC Stenographer Grade C और Grade D का CBT एक ही होता है — Same Paper, Same Questions, Same Time। Grade C और Grade D के लिए Cutoff अलग-अलग होती है। CBT में कुल 200 Questions होते हैं जो 200 Marks के हैं। पूरे Paper को Solve करने के लिए 2 घंटे (120 Minutes) मिलते हैं। हर गलत Answer पर 0.25 Marks की Negative Marking होती है।
Paper तीन Sections में Divide होता है। General Intelligence & Reasoning — 50 Questions, 50 Marks। General Awareness — 50 Questions, 50 Marks। और English Language & Comprehension — 100 Questions, 100 Marks। English का Weightage देखो — 200 में से 100 Marks सिर्फ English से। यानी अगर English Strong है तो आधा Paper पक्का है।
🤩 सबसे बड़ी राहत — NO MATHS!
जिन छात्रों को Maths से डर लगता है, उनके लिए SSC Stenographer एक वरदान है। इस एग्जाम में Quantitative Aptitude (Maths) का एक भी सवाल नहीं आता!
Grade C के लिए जो Cutoff होती है वो हमेशा Grade D से 5-10 Marks ज़्यादा होती है। इसलिए अगर आप Grade C Target कर रहे हैं — English में कोई Compromise नहीं होना चाहिए। (नोट: Scribe के लिए Eligible Candidates को 40 मिनट एक्स्ट्रा यानी कुल 160 Minutes मिलते हैं)।
Section 1 — General Intelligence & Reasoning (50 Questions)
Reasoning Section SSC Stenographer CBT में सबसे ज़्यादा Scorable Section है। इसमें कोई Rote Learning नहीं चाहिए — सिर्फ Logic और Practice। जो Students इस Section में 40+ लाते हैं, वो हमेशा Safe रहते हैं।
आइए एक-एक Topic को Clearly समझते हैं।
Analogy (5-7 Questions): इसमें दो Words, Numbers, या Figures के बीच एक Relationship दिया जाता है — और उसी Pattern पर Based Answer ढूँढना होता है। जैसे — Doctor : Hospital :: Teacher : ? (Answer: School)। यह Simple लगता है लेकिन SSC इसे Twist करके पूछता है — जैसे Numbers में Hidden Mathematical Relationship। Daily 20 Analogy Questions Practice करो — Pattern पहचानना Automatic हो जाता है।
Series Completion (6-8 Questions): Number Series, Letter Series, और Mixed Series। किसी Sequence में एक या दो Terms Missing होती हैं। Series में हमेशा एक Rule होता है — Addition, Multiplication, Prime Numbers, Alternating Pattern, या कोई और Mathematical Logic। इसे Solve करने की Trick यह है कि पहले Consecutive Differences देखो — अगर Difference में Pattern मिले तो Answer वहीं है।
Odd One Out (4-5 Questions): चार Items दिए जाते हैं — तीन किसी Common Property से जुड़े होते हैं और एक अलग होता है। यह Question Vocabulary, GK, और Logic तीनों Test करता है एक साथ। इसमें Trick यह है कि Multiple Angles से देखो — Shape, Size, Property, Category।
Coding-Decoding (5-6 Questions): एक Word को एक Specific Rule से Code में बदला जाता है और आपको उसी Rule से दूसरे Word का Code Find करना होता है। Types हैं — Letter Shifting (A का C, B का D), Number Substitution, Symbol Coding, और Conditional Coding। इसमें Speed Important है — Pattern पहचानने में 10 Seconds लगने चाहिए।
Blood Relations (3-4 Questions): Family Tree Based Questions। एक व्यक्ति किसी दूसरे का कौन होगा — यह Logical Steps से ढूँढना होता है। इसे Solve करने का Best तरीका है — एक Simple Family Tree बनाओ और Relationships Step-by-Step Fill करो।
Direction & Distance (3-4 Questions): कोई व्यक्ति किस Direction में कितने Steps चला — और उसकी Final Position और Direction क्या होगी। इसमें एक Simple Grid Draw करना सबसे आसान तरीका है। North-South-East-West की Practice करो और Clockwise/Anti-Clockwise Turns को अच्छे से समझो।
Venn Diagrams (2-3 Questions): तीन Groups दिए जाते हैं — उनके Overlap को एक Diagram से Represent करना होता है। जैसे — Doctor, Singer, और Male — इन तीनों के Different Combinations को Venn Diagram पर Map करना।
Syllogism (3-4 Questions): दो या तीन Statements दिए जाते हैं और उनसे Valid Conclusions निकालने होते हैं। यहाँ Pure Logic काम करता है — आपकी Personal Knowledge नहीं। हमेशा Statements को True मान कर Conclusions देखो।
Non-Verbal Reasoning (6-8 Questions): Paper Folding, Mirror Image, Water Image, Embedded Figures, Counting Figures — यह सब Visual Logic Test करते हैं। Paper पर Figures Draw करके Practice करो — यह Mental Visualization से ज़्यादा Effective है।
Reasoning Section Strategy: इस Section में 50 Questions 30-35 Minutes में Complete करना Target रखो। Easy Questions पहले Solve करो — Analogy, Odd One Out, Blood Relations। Tricky Questions (Non-Verbal, Complex Syllogism) आखिर में। एक Question पर 2 Minutes से ज़्यादा मत रुको — Skip करो और आगे बढ़ो।
Section 2 — General Awareness (50 Questions)
General Awareness Section में दो तरह की Knowledge Test होती है — Current Affairs और Static GK। दोनों को Equal Importance दो। यह Section Hard Work और Consistent Reading का Result होता है।
Current Affairs (15-20 Questions): पिछले 4 से 6 महीने की National और International Events से Questions आते हैं। इसमें जो सबसे ज़्यादा पूछा जाता है वो है — Awards & Honours (Bharat Ratna, Padma Awards, Nobel Prize, Sahitya Akademi), New Government Schemes और उनके Launch Dates, Sports Events और Champions (Olympic, Asian Games, World Cup), Important Government Appointments (जैसे नए Chief Justices, RBI Governor, UN Officials), और Science & Technology Developments।
Current Affairs के लिए Daily 15-20 Minutes एक Reliable Source पढ़ना ज़रूरी है। यह आदत बनाओ — सुबह उठकर पहला काम Current Affairs। Monthly Revision में एक Compiled List बनाओ — Date, Event, Place। यह Review करना आसान रहता है।
Indian History (8-10 Questions): Ancient, Medieval, और Modern Indian History तीनों से Questions आते हैं। Modern History में — Freedom Struggle, Important Events (1857, 1905, 1919, 1942), Important Personalities (Gandhi, Nehru, Bhagat Singh, Subhash Chandra Bose) ज़्यादा Important हैं। Ancient में — Maurya Empire, Gupta Period, Important Dynasties। Medieval में — Mughal Period, Bhakti Movement, Sul्तanat।
Indian Geography (6-8 Questions): India की Rivers और उनके Origin, National Parks और Wildlife Sanctuaries, States और Union Territories, Mountains और Passes, Climate Zones, Agriculture — यह सब Regular Topics हैं। World Geography में Famous Rivers, Countries and Capitals, Highest Mountains भी कभी-कभी पूछे जाते हैं।
Indian Polity (6-8 Questions): Constitution of India, Fundamental Rights और Duties, Directive Principles, Parliament Structure (Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha), Supreme Court और High Courts, Important Articles (Article 21 — Right to Life, Article 19 — Freedom of Speech, Article 32 — Constitutional Remedies), Amendments — यह सब SSC के Favorite Topics हैं।
Indian Economy (4-5 Questions): Budget Terms (GDP, GNP, Fiscal Deficit, Revenue Deficit), Five Year Plans, Banking System (RBI, SEBI, Functions), GST, Important Economic Schemes — यह Topics से Questions आते हैं। Economy के Questions Factual होते हैं — Definitions और Numbers याद रखो।
Science (8-10 Questions): Physics में — Newton's Laws, Optics, Sound, Electricity। Chemistry में — Elements और Symbols, Acids and Bases, Common Chemical Reactions। Biology में — Human Body Systems (Digestive, Respiratory, Circulatory), Diseases और उनके Causes, Vitamins और उनकी Deficiencies। यह Everyday Science है — Deep में नहीं जाना, Basic Concepts पक्के होने चाहिए।
GK Section Strategy: Static GK के लिए एक Good NCERT Based Book पढ़ो — Class 6 to 10 की। Current Affairs के लिए एक Fixed Source Choose करो और Consistent रहो। GK Section में Time ज़्यादा नहीं लगता — 20-25 Minutes में 50 Questions Solve हो जाते हैं। जो याद है वो Mark करो, जो नहीं याद वो Skip करो — यहाँ Guess नहीं करना।
Section 3 — English Language & Comprehension (100 Questions)
SSC Stenographer CBT में English Section सबसे Decisive होती है। 100 Questions — यानी पूरे Paper का 50%। जो Students English में Comfortable हैं वो CBT में हमेशा आगे रहते हैं। और जो English को Ignore करते हैं — वो अक्सर Cutoff से 5-10 Marks नीचे रह जाते हैं।
आइए English के हर Topic को Detail में समझते हैं।
Reading Comprehension (15-20 Questions): इस Section में 2-3 Passages दिए जाते हैं — हर Passage से 5-8 Questions। Passages का Level Moderate होता है — बहुत Technical नहीं, लेकिन Simple भी नहीं। Questions में होते हैं — Main Idea/Theme, Specific Details, Inference (Directly नहीं लिखा लेकिन Imply किया गया), Synonym/Antonym of a Highlighted Word (Passage Context में), और Tone of the Author।
Reading Comprehension में Best Approach है — पहले Questions पढ़ो, फिर Passage। इससे आपको पता होता है कि Passage में क्या ढूँढना है और Time कम लगता है। Passage में जो Directly Written हो उसे ही Answer मानो — अपनी Knowledge या Assumption से मत जाओ。
Active/Passive Voice & Direct/Indirect Speech (20 Questions): SSC Steno में ये दोनों Topics सबसे बड़े Game Changer हैं। 10 सवाल Voice के और 10 Narration के फिक्स आते हैं। अगर आपने बेसिक रूल्स रट लिए तो ये 20 में से 20 मार्क्स बिल्कुल फ्री के हैं।
Error Detection / Spotting Errors (10-12 Questions): एक Sentence को 4 Parts में Divide करके दिया जाता है — आपको वो Part Find करना है जिसमें Grammatical Error है। Common Errors जो बार-बार आती हैं: Subject-Verb Agreement (Singular Subject के साथ Plural Verb या Vice Versa), Wrong Tense, Wrong Preposition, Article Error (A, An, The का गलत Use), Pronoun Agreement, और Double Negatives।
Error Detection में Grammar Rules पक्की होनी चाहिए। Daily 10 Sentences Analyze करो — सही और गलत दोनों। Gradually आँख Training हो जाती है और Errors खुद दिखने लगती हैं।
Fill in the Blanks (10-12 Questions): एक Sentence में एक या दो Blanks होती हैं। Options में Similar Words दिए जाते हैं — और सही Word Context के हिसाब से Choose करना होता है। इसमें Vocabulary और Context Understanding दोनों काम आती हैं। कभी-कभी Grammatical Form भी Decide करती है — जैसे Blank में Verb चाहिए या Noun।
Cloze Test (10-15 Questions): एक पूरा Paragraph दिया जाता है जिसमें 5-6 Words Remove कर दिए गए हैं। हर Blank के लिए 4 Options हैं। यह Test Reading Comprehension और Vocabulary दोनों एक साथ Test करता है। Cloze Test में हमेशा पूरा Paragraph पहले पढ़ो — Context Clear होने पर Blanks Fill करना बहुत आसान हो जाता है।
Synonyms & Antonyms (8-10 Questions): एक Word दिया जाता है — उसका Synonym (Same Meaning) या Antonym (Opposite Meaning) Choose करना होता है। यह Pure Vocabulary Test है। Daily 10-15 नए Words सीखो — उनके Synonyms और Antonyms के साथ। Specifically SSC के Previous Year Papers से Repeat Words Note करो — वो दोबारा आती हैं।
One Word Substitution (6-8 Questions): एक Long Phrase दिया जाता है — उसका सबसे Appropriate Single Word Choose करना है। जैसे — One who studies stars and planets = Astronomer। Fear of water = Hydrophobia। यह एक बड़ा List है — लेकिन 200-300 Common One Word Substitutions याद करने से यह Topic पूरी तरह Crack हो जाता है।
Idioms & Phrases (6-8 Questions): एक Idiom या Phrase दिया जाता है — उसका सही Meaning Choose करना है। जैसे — Bite the bullet = Endure a painful situation। Burn the midnight oil = Work hard late into the night। Idioms Literal नहीं होते — इसलिए Meaning याद करना ज़रूरी है। एक Good Idioms List से 150-200 Important Idioms Cover करो।
Sentence Improvement (8-10 Questions): एक Sentence में एक Part Underline किया होता है। 4 Options में से एक Better Option Choose करना होता है — या No Improvement Required Select करना होता है। इसमें Grammar, Style, और Clarity तीनों Matter करते हैं।
Para Jumbles (4-5 Questions): 5-6 Sentences दिए जाते हैं जो Jumbled Order में हैं। इन्हें Correct Logical Order में Arrange करना होता है। इसमें एक Trick है — पहले Opening Sentence (Introductory Statement) और Closing Sentence (Conclusion) Identify करो। फिर बीच के Sentences का Sequence बनाओ।
English Section Strategy: English में 100 Questions हैं लेकिन यह Section भी 45-50 Minutes में Complete हो सकता है अगर Speed हो। Grammar और Vocabulary Questions Fast Solve होते हैं — इन्हें पहले करो। Reading Comprehension को Last में रखो। हर दिन 30 Minutes English Newspaper पढ़ो — Vocabulary, Grammar, और Reading Speed तीनों Improve होती हैं एक साथ।
Negative Marking — 0.25 को कम मत समझो
0.25 Negative Marking छोटी लगती है — लेकिन 40 गलत Answers पर 10 Marks Cut हो जाते हैं। SSC Stenographer की Cutoff बहुत Tight होती है — कई बार 1-2 Marks के अंदर सैकड़ों Candidates आते हैं। इसलिए Negative Marking Handle करना एक Skill है।
Smart Strategy यह है — जब आप किसी Question के बारे में 70% या उससे ज़्यादा Confident हों तभी Attempt करो। अगर दो Options Eliminate हो गए हों और 50-50 हो — तो Attempt करो (Mathematically Positive Expected Value है)। लेकिन अगर Question पूरी तरह Unknown हो — Skip करो। Random Guessing Long Run में हमेशा Score Hurt करती है।
एक और Important Point — Exam के आखिरी 10 Minutes में Skipped Questions को ज़रूर Revisit करो। अगर कोई Attempt बचा हो और Time हो — तो उन्हें Try करो। लेकिन Random Mark करके Submit मत करो।
Subject-wise Time Management Plan
120 Minutes में 200 Questions — यानी average 36 Seconds per Question। लेकिन सब Questions Equal नहीं होते। एक Smart Allocation है — Reasoning को 30-35 Minutes दो (50 Questions), GK को 20-25 Minutes (50 Questions), और English को 50-55 Minutes (100 Questions)। English में Time ज़्यादा इसलिए चाहिए क्योंकि Reading Comprehension में Passages पढ़नी होती हैं।
अगर कोई Section Fast Solve हो जाए — बचा हुआ Time दूसरे Section पर Use करो। Exam में Sections Switch करने की Permission होती है — इसे Intelligently Use करो।
CBT की तैयारी के साथ Typing Practice भी चलाओ
यह Section खासतौर पर उन Students के लिए है जो multityping.in पर Practice करते हैं। बहुत लोग यह Mistake करते हैं — वो CBT Result का Wait करते हैं और फिर Typing Practice शुरू करते हैं। लेकिन CBT Result आने के बाद Typing Skill Test के लिए बहुत कम Time मिलता है।
Smart तरीका यह है — CBT की तैयारी के साथ-साथ Daily 30 Minutes Typing Practice भी करो। Grade D के लिए 80 WPM English Shorthand और Grade C के लिए 100 WPM चाहिए। Transcription की Practice भी उतनी ही ज़रूरी है। multityping.in/ssc-typing-test/steno पर SSC Stenographer Standard की Typing Practice Available है।
यह Parallel Approach है — CBT को Priority दो लेकिन Typing को Zero मत करो। अगर CBT Clear हुआ और Typing तैयार है — Selection Almost Confirm है। अगर CBT Clear हुआ और Typing कमज़ोर है — तो Last Moment में Pressure में Skill Build करनी पड़ेगी जो बहुत मुश्किल होता है।

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q1. SSC Stenographer CBT में कौन सा Section सबसे ज़्यादा Important है?
Marks के हिसाब से English Section सबसे Important है — 100 Marks का। इसलिए English में कोई Compromise नहीं होना चाहिए। लेकिन Reasoning Section सबसे Fast Score देता है — Practice से 40-45/50 लाना Possible है। GK Section में Current Affairs Daily पढ़ने से अच्छे Marks आते हैं। तीनों में Balance ज़रूरी है।
Q2. Grade C और Grade D का CBT अलग होता है क्या?
नहीं — Grade C और Grade D के लिए CBT बिल्कुल Same होता है। Same Questions, Same Pattern, Same Time। फर्क सिर्फ यह है कि Grade C की Cutoff ज़्यादा होती है। CBT के Marks से दोनों की अलग-अलग Merit List बनती है। Grade C में Selection के लिए English में Exceptionally Good होना ज़रूरी है।
Q3. CBT Qualify करने के बाद Typing Skill Test कब होती है?
CBT का Result आने के बाद SSC जल्दी ही Typing Skill Test का Schedule Announce कर देता है। कभी-कभी Result के 3-4 हफ्ते के अंदर ही Typing Test हो जाती है। इसीलिए multityping.in पर Typing Practice CBT के साथ-साथ चलाना ज़रूरी है — Result का Wait मत करो।
Q4. English Section में Reading Comprehension से कितने Questions आते हैं?
Reading Comprehension से आमतौर पर 15-20 Questions आते हैं — 2-3 Passages से। यह English Section का सबसे Large Chunk है। Passages Medium Difficulty Level के होते हैं। Questions में Main Idea, Specific Information, Inference, Vocabulary in Context, और Author's Tone शामिल होते हैं।
Q5. क्या Previous Year Papers से CBT की Practice करनी चाहिए?
बिल्कुल हाँ — यह सबसे ज़रूरी काम है। SSC Stenographer के Previous Year Papers से Question Pattern, Difficulty Level, और Most Asked Topics सब Clear हो जाते हैं। कुछ Words, Topics, और Question Types Repeat होते हैं। कम से कम 5 साल के Papers Time-bound Solve करो। SSC की Official Website और Major Coaching Platforms पर यह Papers Free में Available हैं।
